In memory of Scooter

Scooter

7/4/1995 - 7/10/2012

I walked into the Capital Area Humane Society in Columbus, Ohio on August 18, 1995 hoping I would find a feline companion for my kitty Munchkin. Of course, as happens in most cases, she found me. As I scanned the cages wishing I could take them all home, one little gray kitty kept calling to me. Once I picked her up, I never put her down. Her name was Hobie but I called her Scooter because she scooted all over the house. She was as sweet and smart as she was playful and silly. She took care of me as much as I took care of her. We had an incredible 17 year journey together. I will be forever grateful that when she was diagnosed with terminal cancer she was in the care of the veterinarians and staff of The Cat Practice. They took care of both of us right up to the time when Scooter left her physical body and began the next chapter of her journey. Although Munchkin and I miss you being here with us every day, we still have our chats and I feel your presence all around me and within me...

Comments and Condolences

We miss Scooter terribly. She was such a kind and loving soul. She certainly was a lucky girl to have you as her person. -- Cindy
